Commitment to
Character

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Alpha Omicron Pi is a special place I get to call home daily! Our chapter, Rho Delta, is a unique place where every member is celebrated and uplifted for being who they already are. The women I call my sisters are vibrant, fun, ambitious, driven, and pursue excellence every day. From serving Samford University as part of Student Government Association to the cheer team, AOII’s involvement can be spotted from every corner of campus. Whether it’s coming together to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation to dancing the night away at a Formal or Semi-Formal, I know my sisters are my go-to girls for anything. I am so thankful for the opportunities and opened-doors that this sisterhood has provided for me. Being able to serve as Chapter President has only deepened my love for our chapter and the women I have the honor of serving. Alpha Omicron Pi has not only shaped my collegiate years, but I know it will have a long lasting impact. The friendships I have made are invaluable and one of the many ways this chapter has continued to shape me into the person I am today.
